About
The Hibbing Band Parents Organization was founded in 1953 and functions as a 501c3 non-profit organization. The purposes of the organization are to promote the general welfare of the Hibbing High School Band, assist the band director with things that are within their jurisdiction, raise money and maintain a general fund. The board consists of a president, a vice president, a secretary, a treasurer, a public affairs officer, and two members at large and meets once a month in the band room. Any parent/guardian of a student in band grades 7-12 is eligible to attend the meetings and hold an elected
position.
